Re: Drive Chain

Hi DavPag1 If I'm not mistaken the "520" of the reference represent the step of the chain. Mecanically speaking I can't see a problem of changing model if the new chain has the same step, total lenght and width. for the 520 O-ring the width is obviously different but I cannot confirm it w...

Drive Chain

Salut French Riders A question I need answering regarding my drive chain, so hopefully someone can help? My Gladius has a rated DID 520VM2 drive chain as stock. (As per manual) I've been thinking of upgrading it to the O-ring type that I hear is a smoother chain and slightly more robust. So my quest...

Re: Twin Horns - questions

Hi Riders I've finally fitted a set of Denso twin horns. The reason for using these compared to other makes - Bosche, Hella - was the limited room between the radiator, tank and frame made it not practical to have larger ones. The Denso are slightly smaller diameter than the original horn size. I us...

Progressive springs

Salut French Riders Has anyone upgraded to progressive springs, front and rear on their Gladius? Secondly, which manufacturer do you recommend? What were the improvements to the overall ride, if any? Or..... Do you recommend just putting better fork oil into the suspension shafts? Tks...Ride Safe PS...

Re: Twin Horns - questions

Hi, There is no relay to feed the horn on standard Gladius. I am not sure the wiring harness will support to feed 2 horns. So, it would be better to feed double horns with a relay. Without relay solution should work but how long ?? The risk is to weld horn button or wiring harness .... For the wiri...

Twin Horns - questions

Salut Gladius riders I want to replace my stock horn on my Suzuki Gladius with twins. So I have a couple of questions. So tks in advance to any answers. 1) Do I need a relay that the existing wiring goes to before splitting to the two horns? 2) Will the two horns work with no relay and just splittin...

Upgrading my levers and grips

Hi Gladius riders Well here's what I thought was going to be an easy accessory upgrade. But turned out to be a bit of a hassle. So let me explain. I decided to upgrade my very long stock Suzuki levers to shorty's and my uncomfortable grips. Why? Let me tell you..... Firstly I found the standard grip...

ça à l'air un peu anguleux quand même...ce n'est pas aussi bien fait que chez nous... :gene: I possibly agree with what you say that it is not as good as what is manufactured in a high-tech facility in France, Europe or the USA. But you have to consider that the upholsterer created this by cutting ...

Updating your Gladius seat the Philippine way

Salut Gladius Riders As promised in my "newbie" post i will show you how my new seat was produced by a local upholsterer not far from where I live. So read on riders..... While at a workshop during the middle of March I met a Yamaha Fino scooter rider who had an impressive seat in two colo...
